Just when she started to pull herself together and get her mind right, Kanita’s life takes a turn for the worse. Almost four months after being beaten and raped by her ex, Maine, Kanita finds out that she is once again pregnant with his child. While trying to keep it a secret from him and others around her, she decides to stop running from the law and face her reality. With her attorney and current boyfriend, A’Monte by her side, Kanita turns herself in to her probation officer and explains everything that she’s been going through since being released from prison. Her probation officer, Nadia Perez gives her another chance to fix her life and allows her to remain a free woman.
While staying with A’Monte, an unexpected guess drops by to pay Kanita a visit and attempts to take her and her unborn baby’s life. While she’s laid up in the hospital in critical condition, her twin sister, Kaneisha aka Nena steps back into assassin mode while going in search to find the person that attempted to kill her sister. When she finally finds out who the person is, she’s less than thrilled. Nena and Diamond come together to go after their own best-friend, Simone and her cousin, Zonique. After Nena pulls out her gun and starts busting shots, Simone and Zonique take off running up the block, causing Nena and Diamond to lose track of them, only to catch up with them later.
Once Nique finds out who Kanita’s probation officer is, she attempts to keep her best-friend out of jail by attempting to sweet talk the P.O. Not only was Nadia, Nique’s probation officer at one time, but she was also one of Nique’s side chicks. Nique thought she could get Nadia to talk it easy on Nita, by having a simple friendly conversation with her. But what Nique didn’t realize is, everything comes with a price. Nadia forces Nique to gamble with Kanita’s freedom. It’s either sex with Nadia, or jail time for a pregnant Kanita Johnson.
What’s going to happen to Kanita now that Maine knows she’s pregnant with his baby? Will Nique figure out a way to keep Kanita out of Jail, or will Nadia fail at getting a grip on Nique’s mind and body or will she violate Kanita’s probation and toss her ass back in prison?

Soooooo much drama in this book but I enjoyed it. I felt bad for Nita and she couldn't catch a break, Charmaine and Yvette was crazy and got exactly what they deserved. Can't wait until part 3
So many surprises, The twist and turns are great. A series well worth reading. Dysfunctional family with Karma at its best. With so many enemies it is hard to tell who is coming for you next. The author has done a good job keeping me reading and wanting more. can't wait to see what happens next.
Its crazy I can't Believe Simone and I want to know what Del had to tell Nita. Also what's up with Maine do he love her or is he really crazy in the head. I hope Monte ain't have nothing to do with Nita being in the hospital. I hope Jackie take care of the snakes in their lives. Man I need more this was excellent. Where is Kelvin now he has issues but gotta love him. I hope it all works out in the end
This book picks up right where one left off at. There's drama from beginning to the end. Nita just couldn't get a break. Both Yvette and Charmaine got what they deserved. Let's not forget about Simone and Monte's mother also. They got there's too. I hoping Nita and Monte was going somewhere with that relationship. Now Jackie is back in town but for what? There's so many unanswered questions. This book is filled with drama, drama, and more drama. Waiting on part three.
Very drama filled and I loved it.Nita couldn't catch a break to save her life. I felt so bad for her and all she had to endure. I had high hopes for her and Monte' and hope they can work something out. Charmaine and Yvette both got what they deserved jus wish it was a lil more painful for Charmaine.
I will say Neisha was getting on my nerves sometimes she was doing to much her and Nique need to stay out of Nita love life. With all the drama going on them Jackie just pops up could she be up to something or is she back on good terms. Kelvin done gone crazy and I love it lol. It's still a lot that needs to solved and I can't wait for part 3.
I enjoyed reading this book... It caught me and held me the whole way through.. The drama oh the drama... Nita just could not catch a break... Now matter what she did or tried something bad always came her way... Maine did her wrong and has done so many things to bring drama to her life... But is it really him? Or is it those around him? Delvon is just a little to sneaky for my liking... I did not get what he was up to...Still have questions about that... A'Monte seems like a good guy with a horrible family... I don't know why they feel so strongly about Nita... Now that everything has happened and the way A'Monte is acting I am starting to question him and his motive... How did he just fall off like that... Good thing Nita has her family to lean on... I love the closeness of the siblings Nita, Neisha, and Kelvin... Although they have their moments like most siblings... They go above and beyond to make sure that no one messes with either one of them... What will happen Now that Maine popped back up in the picture... Where is A'Monte? What did Delvon need to talk to Nita so bad about? What happened to Shanny? What is it about him that did not sit right with Nita? What happened to Layla? Man so many questions... Hope there will be a part 3...
